American River Girls Softball League serves the Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale communities, providing athletic opportunities to girls aged 4 to 16. This league is committed to developing players of all ability levels, instilling in them values of teamwork, communication, cooperation, grit and a love for the game of softball. ARGS is staffed by volunteers who have a passion for youth athletics.
American River Girls Softball participates in three seasons annually:
- Spring Recreational Softball (February through May)
- American River Select Softball (February through May)
- All Stars (May through July)
