American River Girls Softball's Select Program seeks to assemble teams of players and managers who demonstrate exceptional leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, softball skills and commitment to the league. This program offers advanced recreational players the opportunity to compete at a higher, more competitive level while remaining active members of ARGSA and our local community. American River Select Softball is developing teams at 10U, 12U, and 14U levels.
To be eligible to try-out for Select, you must register for the Spring 2025 recreation season and pay the spring registration fee.
If the player does not make the select team, they will then be placed on a recreation team for the Spring Season. No refunds will be provided.
The 2025 Select Season will be from January - July of 2025. Teams will practice up to 3 days per week. Additional Select fees could cost up to $600.00 per player. If you are interested in trying out for the select team, please click on the link below and fill out the 2025 Select Interest Form.
Select Managers should have experience coaching girls' softball, be in good standing with ARGSA, pass a background check and complete all SafeSport training.
